Priority, Privilege and Protection

Reading: Luke 13:18-35

Key Verse: Luke 13: 24
“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.”

The important question is not how many will be welcomed into heaven on the last day but the personal question, “Will I be welcomed into heaven on the last day?”

Worldly people live with no thought of God but then say of the dead “they are at peace”, which sadly is not true.

We are in privileged position when we hear the gospel, but hearing alone does not put you in a safe position with God. Until we accept the gospel message, we are sinners and repent, we are rejected by God and face hell on judgement day. We need to take advantage of the privilege of hearing the gospel.

God is willing to save – are you willing to be saved?
