We would like to see Jesus

God fearing gentiles come to see Jesus, in reply Jesus annouces that the hour of his death, the sacrifice of his own body has arrived.

Parable of the vineyard

As the relgious leaders reject Jesus’ authority, he points to the old testment scripture which speaks of him. Psalm 118:22-23 “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;
the Lord has done this, and it is marvellous in our eyes”

After facing the 3 Jewish trails before Annas and then the High Priest Caiaphas, and then the Sanhedrin, Jesus faced three trails before the Romans. This last trail is before Pilate, where Pilate becomes increasing aware of who Jesus is.
