Psalm 62

Reading: Psalm 62

Key Verse: Psalm 62:11-12 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
‘Power belongs to you, God,
and with you, Lord, is unfailing love’;
and, ‘You reward everyone
according to what they have done.’
(NIVUK)

The psalmist is stressed, but in the midst of his struggles has confidence in the Lord.

We when struggling, angry at God’s providence, should pour out our hearts and submit, reminding ourselves of God’s strength and love. Remember God who he is and what he has done

Sermon Points:
A: v1-4 Trusting God when it is tempting not to.
v3-4 addresses his opposition, contrasting them with God v1-2
B: v5-8 Encourage ourselves in God v8 preaches to fellow believers
